Moderna shares whipsaw for third session on cancer vaccine trial data

** Shares of Moderna MRNA.O rise 14.5% to $152.60, clawing back part of Thursday's slide
** Friday's bounce marks a third straight session of outsized swings tied to the late-stage cancer vaccine trial data reported on Wednesday by Moderna and Merck MRK.N 
** Moderna surged nearly 177% on Wednesday and shed 23.6% on Thursday, as the mRNA trade keeps whipsawing with no fresh clinical information hitting on Friday
** More than 45.3 million MRNA shares traded, about 3 times the stock's 30-day average volume
** Shares of Merck up nearly 3%, while Nasdaq Biotechnology Index .NBI is up 1.9%
** At least seven brokerages raised their PT on Moderna this week following the trial results
** As of last close, MRNA was up more than fivefold YTD
