** Shares of Polish footwear retailer CCC CCC.WA rise around 6% after Ultro Investment, a shareholder controlled by CEO Dariusz Milek, requested an EGM to vote on a share buyback worth up to 280 million zlotys ($77.86 million)
** The buyback targets up to 2 million shares at 130-200 zlotys per share, representing 2.6% of the company's share capital
** "The planned share buyback is a shareholder response to recent declines in CCC's share price," says Piotr Bogusz, an analyst at Erste Group
** He adds that Erste Group expects the company to report relatively weak earnings in the short term, partly due to inventory optimization measures
** CCC is the top performer on Poland's blue-chip WIG20 .WIG20 index
