Q3 preliminary results due on November 6
Q3 average core profit forecast 483 million zlotys
GDANSK, Nov 3 (Reuters) - Polish footwear and fashion retailer CCC CCCP.WA is expected to report third-quarter core profit broadly in line with a year earlier, as it faces pressure from weak sales and contracting margins, a Reuters poll showed on Monday.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation are expected to come in at 483 million zlotys ($132.82 million), according to the average forecast of analysts from four banks and brokerages, compared with 479 million zlotys a year earlier.
Analysts said that while revenue was expected to grow due to the opening of new stores, particularly in the HalfPrice off-price chain, this would be offset by narrower margins.
They pointed to unfavourable weather in September, lower brand appeal, and an increasing share of less profitable wholesale business.
