Nov 7 (Reuters) - Polish footwear and fashion retailer
CCC CCCP.WA said on Thursday its third-quarter core profit
jumped 111% year on year.
Preliminary earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation
and amortisation (EBITDA) came in at 485 million zlotys ($121.25
million) compared with 230 million zlotys in the year-earlier
period.
Revenue rose 14% year on year to 2.77 billion zlotys, driven
by sales growth in all business segments, CCC, HalfPrice and the
Modivo Group.
Sales exceeded 10 billion zlotys for the first time in the
last 12 months, the company said in the statement.
"All brands contributed to the Group's results ... cost
dynamics were significantly lower than revenue growth in each
business line," the company said.
The group said costs in the quarter fell 4.6%, while retail
space increased by 6%.
