** Shares of Moil Ltd  MOIL.NS  rise as much as 5.8% to
170.4 rupees, their biggest pct gain since Dec 2
    ** Manganese ore producer on Sunday reported record Dec.
production of 141,321 tonnes, an 18% rise over Nov
    ** MOIL also hikes prices of all ferro grades of manganese
ore with manganese content of Mn-44% and above by 15%
    ** About 1.1 mln shares change hands by 10 a.m. IST vs 3.1x
the 30-day avg
    ** Stock last up ~4%; it fell 4.8% over whole of last year
