** Shares of Moil MOIL.NS rise as much as 3.37% to 404.90 rupees apiece; stock last up ~2%

** The manganese miner says it registered 10.3% year-on-year production growth in the September quarter

** Sales rise 18.6% Y/Y to 3.53 lakh tonnes in the second quarter

** "The strong growth in production and sales indicate that MOIL to well positioned to maintain its leadership in the manganese sector," says Ajit Kumar Saxena, chairman and managing director at MOIL

** MOIL shares are up 18.3% in 2025 so far, outpacing the 6.2% drop in Nifty Microcap 250 index .NIFTYMICROCAP250, exchange data shows
