India's Moil surges after Quantum MF Gilt Fund buys stake

** Shares of Moil  MOIL.NS  surge as much as 15.49% to a
near six-year high of 261.10 rupees apiece
    ** Rise after bulk deal data compiled by National Stock
Exchange showed that Quantum Mutual Fund Gilt Fund bought 1.1
mln shares (0.54% stake) of the manganese ore producer at 226.80
rupees per share     
    ** MOIL's stock is most active in nearly 13 years since
December 2010, with a volume of 14.63 mln shares as of 12 p.m.
IST, over 16x the 30-day avg - LSEG data
    ** Shares of MOIL up 56% in 2023 so far, including day's
gains, compared to 13% rise in Nifty 500 index  .NIFTY500 , of
which it is a constituent
