BUDAPEST, April 17 (Reuters) - Hungary's oil company MOL said in a statement on Friday that its chief executive committee proposed to the board of directors that the dividend for the 2025 financial year be paid in the third quarter of 2026.
The announcement comes after election winner Peter Magyar said on Thursday that he expected MOL not to pay out a record dividend to the Orban-linked Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC) educational institution and think tank.
MOL said that "the dividend payment will be made in line with MOL’s previous practice and in compliance with legal requirements in all respects."
