Hungary's MOL says Ukraine fuel reserves plan in very early phase
Hungary's MOL says Ukraine fuel reserves plan in very early phase BUDAPEST, Sept 21 (Reuters) - Hungary's oil and gas group MOL MOLB.BU said on Monday that it agreed with Ukraine's Naftogaz that the idea of creating storage for crude and fuel reserves for Ukraine was "worth exploring" but the plan was in an initial phase and could take several years.
The two companies signed a memorandum.
MOL, in which the Hungarian state holds a 25% stake, said there was no need to involve the government in the preparatory work at this stage. Prime Minister Peter Magyar told parliament on Monday that MOL conducted the talks with Naftogaz without consulting his government, which does not support the idea.
