Molecular Templates rises on FDA nod to human trials for cancer drug

** Shares of drug developer Molecular Templates Inc  MTEM.O 
rise 17.3% to $0.52 
    ** Co says the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has
cleared the application to begin human trials for its
experimental drug to treat locally advanced solid tumors in
patients previously exposed to immunotherapy    
    ** MTEM expects to initiate the first-in-human study with
the drug candidate, MT-8421, by mid-year 2023 
    ** Including session's moves, stock tumbled ~94% over the
past 12 months
