Health insurers jump as US finalizes 2.48% Medicare Advantage payment hike

** Shares of U.S. health insurers rise premarket as the U.S. is set to raise Medicare Advantage payments to insurers by 2.48% next year

** Shares of Medicare-focused insurer Humana HUM.N jump 10.2%, CVS Health CVS.N rise 6.3%, while UnitedHealth Group UNH.N up 6.8%

** Elevance Health ELV.N rises 6%, while Molina Healthcare MOH.N and Centene CNC.N climb more than 4% each

     ** The final proposal is above the government's January draft proposal for an increase of just 0.09% for 2027, which triggered sharp declines in health insurers' shares
