Wall Street's main indexes dropped on Tuesday on concerns over lofty equity valuations and dimming prospects of an interest rate cut from the Federal Reserve, while investors awaited Nvidia's earnings and key government data due later this week..N

At  1030 EST, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 1.15% at 46,054.17. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 1.01% at 6,605.18, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 1.46% at 22,375.72.
