** Stock hits highest level since August 21

** IVF clinics operator rejects conditional and non-binding indicative proposal from a consortium including Genesis Capital Investment Management

** Offer price of A$0.8 represents 31.1% premium on last close

** Co says current proposal is at a "substantial discount to comparable IVF transactions in the Australian market"

** Stock down 35.4% YTD, including the day's moves
