PREVIEW: MongoDB shares up about 3%; co due to report after the bell

** Shares of MongoDB MDB.O were up 3.1% in early afternoon  trading on Wed ahead of the software co's qtrly results due after the closing bell

** Analysts expect Q1 rev of $528.22 mln, up from $450.56 mln a yr ago and EPS of 66c/shr vs 51c a yr ago, according to LSEG

** The co in March gave downbeat annual revenue and profit forecasts

** The median PT 12-mo is $252.00, down from $275 a month ago; the stock was last at $199.73

** Analyst recommendations include 26 "strong buy" or "buy" ratings and 11 "hold" ratings

** Including the session move, MDB stock is down about 14% YTD vs a roughly 0.7% increase in the Nasdaq .IXIC
