** Semiconductor firm Monolithic Power Systems' MPWR.O shares rise 1% to $648.6

** Co raises Q1 revenue forecast to between $630 mln and $640 mln from the prior outlook of $610 mln to $630 mln

** Expects Q1 adjusted operating expense to be $131.6 mln to $135.6 mln, up from the earlier forecast of $126.9 mln to $130.9 mln

** 13 of 18 brokerages rate the stock "buy" or higher, 5 "hold"; their median PT is $800- LSEG

** As of last close, MPWR stock had fallen 3% in the past 12 months
