Monopar up after positive safety data review for cancer drug trial

** Shares of drug developer Monopar Therapeutics Inc
 MNPR.O  up ~10% at $3.06 premarket
    ** Co says it has received positive recommendation from its
safety review committee to advance experimental cancer drug
trial to a higher dosage level
    ** Adds that early-stage trial data for the drug,
camsirubicin, showed improvement in median progression free
survival from what was observed in a prior study
    ** The drug is being tested to treat patients with advanced
soft tissue sarcoma, a cancer that forms in soft tissues of the
body  
    ** Stock has gained ~25% in the past 12 months
