Feb 23 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening lower on Monday, with futures FFIc1 down 0.2%.
* ROLLS-ROYCE: Rolls-Royce Holdings RR.L is expected to announce alongside its annual results this week that it will launch a fresh share buyback worth as much as 1.5 billion pounds, Sky News reported.
* BP: BP's BP.L Olympic Pipeline has resumed operations following two-day maintenance work, the company said.
* CARNIVAL: Carnival CCL.N, CCL.L will unify its parallel listings in New York and London and redomicile to Bermuda, the cruise operator said.
* OIL: Oil prices fell about 1% as the U.S. and Iran prepared for a third round of nuclear talks, easing fears of an escalating conflict, while President Donald Trump's fresh tariff hikes created uncertainty for global growth and fuel demand.
* METALS: LME copper hit a more than one-week high, while most other metals in the base metals complex also gained as the dollar fell after the U.S. Supreme Court on Friday struck down a vast swathe of tariffs imposed by U.S. President Donald Trump.
* GOLD: Gold rose to a more than three-week high on the dollar's fall after the U.S. Supreme Court struck down most of President Donald Trump's tariffs on Friday and as U.S.-Iran tensions simmered.
* FTSE: Britain's stock indexes climbed on Friday, finishing the week higher, after the U.S. Supreme Court struck down President Donald Trump's tariffs, while expectations of a Bank of England rate cut in March and easing concerns over AI disruption also lifted sentiment.
