RNS Number : 2002A WHG Treasury PLC 18 January 2024

News release

Moody's credit ratings update

Moody's Investors Service have on 12 January 2024 affirmed the credit rating
of Walsall Housing Group Ltd and whg Treasury Plc at A2 with a stable outlook.
This reaffirms the upgrade to A2 (stable outlook) in October 2023.

The credit opinion reflects whg's low-risk business model focused on social
housing lettings and strong operating performance, as well as whg's moderate
development ambitions.

The stable outlook reflects Moody's expectation that the expected gradual
reduction in inflation will alleviate pressures on the cost base and that the
proactive risk reduction measures taken by whg in a weaker operating
environment will limit development risk.

The Moody's report is available on our Investor Relations Portal, which can be
