Mothercare plc (the "Company") announces that it was notified today that the Mothercare Employees' Share Trustee Limited (the "Trust") had on 27 October 2014 taken up its rights pursuant to the Rights Issue announced on 23 September 2014 in respect of 2,835 ordinary shares of 50 pence each (the "Shares"), at a price of 125 pence per share.
The Shares are to be utilised by the Trust for equity incentives throughout the Mothercare business.
The executive directors (and other persons discharging management responsibilities) of the Company are deemed to be interested in all of the Shares held by the Trust, which now amount to 5,986 shares or 0.003% of the issued share capital.
