Result of General Meeting

 

Mountview Estates P.L.C. is pleased to announce that at the General Meeting
held today, the Resolutions were duly passed on a poll, the results of which
are set out below:

 1. to re-elect Mr A W Powell as a Director of the Company     2,055.879  62.71  1,222,737      37.29  3,278,616    84.09                      333
 2. to re-elect Ms M L Archibald as a Director of the Company  2,057,040  62.74  1,221,609      37.26  3,278,649    84.09                      300

 

Note: A 'vote withheld' is not a vote under English law and is not counted in
the calculation of votes 'for' or 'against' a resolution.

 

 

The Company is disappointed, that there was a significant minority vote (being
more than 20 per cent) against each of the Resolutions.  As we have done
previously, we will continue to seek to engage with independent shareholders
and will take into account any feedback around their concerns and
considerations in the future.
