May 7 (Reuters) - Rare earths firm MP Materials MP.N said on Thursday its first-quarter loss narrowed as a jump in revenue offset rising operating costs.
The company posted a net loss of $7.9 million, or 4 cents per share, compared to a net loss of $22.7 million, or 14 cents per share, in the year-ago quarter.
The results were boosted by $42.3 million in price protection agreement income from the U.S. government as part of a 2025 investment deal.
