** Tyre maker's Q1 profit from continuing operations fell 2% to 4.74 bln rupees ($49.7 mln)
** Revenue rises 9.7%, total expenses jump 11.7% in the quarter ended June 30
** Trading vols 1.8x the 30-day average at 10,541 shares
** YTD, MRF down ~15%
