New AS9100D Certification expands MTI's ability

to tender for Airborne Defence Contracts

 

MTI Wireless Edge Ltd (AIM: MWE), the technology group focused on

sectors, is pleased to announce that it has achieved AS9100D certification,
the internationally recognised quality management standard for the aerospace
and defence industries.

Defence is an important market for MTI, and spending in the sector has risen
significantly over the past two years. Investment in airborne defence,
including aircraft, unmanned aerial systems and missile programmes, has been
growing rapidly reflecting the shift to satellite defence and drone programmes
in modern warfare, an area which is very reliant on antenna communication.

Leading international defence companies and government organisations typically
require AS9100D certification from their suppliers. With this certification
now in place, MTI is better positioned to tender for high-value contracts
across the sector as it continues to grow.

The AS9100D certification demonstrates MTI's commitment to the highest
standards of quality, reliability and operational excellence, and reflects the
robustness of the Company's processes across design, development,
manufacturing and supply chain management.
