April 30 (Reuters) - German engines maker MTU Aero Engines MTXGn.DE posted a first-quarter operating profit above expectations on Thursday, signalling no visible impact from the ongoing war in Iran in the reported period.
The company reported first-quarter adjusted earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) of 320 million euros ($373.15 million), compared with 300 million euros in the same quarter of 2025.
A company-provided analyst consensus expected a quarterly operating profit of 310 million euros on average.
