MTU Aero Engines sees 2025 growth driven by commercial aircraft unit (updated)

(adds cash flow, turbofan issue, EBIT, this year's forecast, in
paragraphs 2-3, 4)
Nov 29 (Reuters) - German engine manufacturer MTU Aero
Engines MTXGn.DE sees further revenue growth in 2025, driven
by the commercial aircraft business, it said in a statement on
Friday.
However, cash flow will continue to be in the low
triple-digit million euro range next year as the negative effect
from the turbofan recall campaign persists.
Last year, MTU had to recall up to 3,000 geared turbofan
engines from its partner Pratt & Whitney RTX.N for an
inspection due to a potentially defective turbine disc.

The company expects sales to be between 8.3 billion and 8.5
billion euros ($8.76-$8.97 billion) next year, and the adjusted
earnings before taxes (EBIT) to increase to the low-to-mid-teen
percentage range.
For this year, the aerospace supplier sees adjusted EBIT at
1 billion euros, and sales at between 7.3 and 7.5 billion euros.
