Energy sector climbs on Russia political turmoil

** S&P 500 Energy Index  .SPNY  climbs 1.5% amid political
turmoil in Russia
    ** Revolt by mercenaries over the weekend raised concerns
about political instability in Russia and the potential impact
on oil supply from one of the world's largest producers  O/R 
    ** Oil majors Chevron Corp  CVX.N  and ExxonMobil Corp
 XOM.N  both up 1.2%
    ** Baker Hughes  BKR.O , EQT Corp  EQT.N  and Halliburton Co
 HAL.N  climb between 2.2% and 2.6%, among top pct. gainers in
the energy index
    ** Other oil producers Murphy Oil  MUR.N , Marathon Oil Corp
 MRO.N , Hess Corp  HES.N  and EOG Resources  EOG.N  rise 2.7%
to 2.1%
