MYCELX TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION
("MYCELX" or the "Company")
Appointment of New Chairman and Succession
MYCELX Technologies Corporation (AIM: MYX), the clean water and clean air
technology company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Gareth
Kaminski-Cook as Chairman of the Board with effect immediately following
today's Annual General Meeting. Current Chairman, Tom Lamb will remain on the
Board as a Non-Executive Director. In keeping with the Company's commitment to
strong governance, it is also initiating succession plans to ensure leadership
continuity.
In the Chairman role, Gareth will engage with the Company's key stakeholders
and work with Board and executive management to further strengthen the
Company's strategy and organisational structure. He brings over 30 years'
experience in market-leading industrial organisations across several business
sectors, having previously been part of the leadership team of several global
corporations. Gareth has also served as the CEO and board member for several
companies listed on the UK stock exchange. At present, Gareth is the
Non-Executive Chairman of Haydale Graphene Industries plc, where he was
responsible for undertaking a corporate transformation of the business,
increasing the market cap of the company from ca.£4 million to ca.£30
million. Prior to this, Gareth was the CEO of Autins Group PLC, where he
successfully initiated a commercial turnaround of the business, with his
previous roles including senior positions at Saint Gobain, Rexam, BPB and
Danaher. Gareth is a former Officer in the Corps of Royal Engineers and a
Civil Engineering graduate from Birmingham University.
The Company is moving forward with its succession plan, which has been in
place and refined over time, reflecting the Company's commitment to strong
governance and leadership continuity. As part of this process, MYCELX will
prioritise development and further training of key internal personnel for
specific leadership positions. This approach not only preserves the Company's
culture and institutional knowledge but also affirms the Company's support of
long-term employees who have delivered growth, and demonstrated strong
leadership qualities. The wider succession plan will be reviewed and updated
regularly by the Board's Nominating and Governance Committee, with progress
communicated to shareholders as appropriate.
Tom Lamb, the former Chairman, said:
"Our Board and management team have successfully retained and continuously
elevated future leaders, ensuring that any transition - whether planned or
unforeseen - is seamless and supports the continued execution of our strategy
and evolving business needs. This is an exciting moment for MYCELX and we
remain focused on executing our growth strategy, strengthening the Company's
market position, and delivering sustained long-term value for its
shareholders. I remain a committed shareholder and I have considerable faith
in the future potential of this business."
Gareth Kaminski-Cook, newly appointed Chairman, said:
"I am delighted to be joining MYCELX Technologies Corporation at what I
believe is a pivotal moment in the Company's history. The business is poised
for a step change in growth, with a number of contracts in advanced stages of
bidding, that would help to significantly increase revenue. MYCELX continues
to gain the attention of high-profile customers in its core markets, due to
the successful trials and installations undertaken in recent years and is
actively bidding on projects that have the potential to generate significant
value for all our stakeholders going forward. I look forward to working with
our shareholders and employees to unlock the exceptional potential of the
MYCELX technologies "
