The tech-heavy Nasdaq drove Wall Street higher on Tuesday, as traders held on to
bets of interest-rate cuts by the Federal Reserve in the coming months, even as
consumer prices data came in slightly hotter than expected.  .N 
    
    At 13:43 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.49% at
38,961.06. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.83% at 5,160.27 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 1.14% at 16,201.74.
