** Bank posts lower-than-expected net interest income of C$1.17 billion ($846.78 million), compared with expectations of C$1.20 billion - data compiled by LSEG

** National Bank's adjusted EPS was C$2.68 for the three months ended July 31, compared with expectations of C$2.69

** Including session's move, NA up 9.76% YTD
