On 31 July 2014 Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 200,000 ordinary shares at a price of 166.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 
Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 1,918,656 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 102,574,515 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
