** Shares of e-commerce company Beyond BYON.N up ~4% at $9.18 in early trading

** Co says it will change corporate name to Bed Bath & Beyond and its common stock will begin trading under ticker symbol "BBBY" on NYSE, effective August 29 after markets open

** Adds, Bed Bath & Beyond's comeback is underway with its first store conversion in Nashville, Tennessee, which saw improving revenue growth

** Co says it plans to convert additional Kirkland's locations into small to midsize format Bed Bath & Beyond and buybuy BABY stores

** Up to last close, stock was up nearly 80% YTD
