MADRID, April 20 (Reuters) - Spanish homebuilder Neinor Homes HOME.MC said on Monday that CEO Borja García-Egotxeaga would step down at the end of 2026, to be succeeded by the company's current Chief Financial Officer Jordi Argemi.
Neinor said Argemi had been appointed co-CEO alongside García-Egotxeaga during a transition period, and would become the sole CEO from January 1, 2027.
García-Egotxeaga will remain linked to Neinor as a senior advisor after the handover, the company said in a statement.
Neinor said the group seeks to maintain continuity in its strategy after a period of expansion in Spain's residential market.
According to the Madrid-based firm, Argemi has been involved in major transactions in recent years, including the Quabit merger, a partnership with Bain Capital involving Habitat, the buildout of its asset management business and, more recently, the acquisition of AEDAS Homes.
