** New Gold Inc's shares  NGD.TO  fall 11.6% to C$1.25 -
hitting an over 4-month low
    ** Co suspends underground mining activities at its New
Afton gold-copper mine in Kamloops, British Columbia
    ** Says following inspections of the New Afton Tailings
Storage Facility, it observed geotechnical variances that
require further review by the Engineer of Record
    ** Adds that milling operations continue unaffected
    ** Including session losses, stock down 4.2% YTD
