New Gold reports fatality at Rainy River mine in Canada
July 24 (Reuters) - Canadian miner New Gold NGD.TO
said on Wednesday an employee at the Rainy River mine had died
while operating a piece of equipment in an open pit.
The company has suspended operations at the mine, and is
working with the local authorities to investigate the incident.
The Rainy River mine is located in northwestern Ontario in
Canada.
