acquisitions and disposals were reported by 2000 GMT on
Thursday:

    ** An agreement on a bailout for German utility Uniper
 UN01.DE  is in sight, with the state set to take a stake in the
company, German government and parliamentary sources said.

    ** Mexican conglomerate Alfa  ALFAA.MX  will not provide any
financial guarantees to its telecommunications unit Axtel during
the subsidiary's spin-off process, Alfa's top financial officer

    ** Ford Motor Co  F.N  said it will buy lithium from ioneer
Ltd's  INR.AX  Rhyolite Ridge mining project in Nevada and use

    ** Alpha Bank  ACBr.AT , one of Greece's four largest
lenders, said that it picked a consortium comprising Dimand S.A.
and Premia Properties as the preferred bidder for a joint

    ** Amazon.com Inc  AMZN.O  agreed to buy primary care
provider One Medical  ONEM.O  for $3.49 billion, expanding the
e-commerce giant's virtual healthcare and adding

    ** Ericsson  ERICb.ST  closed its $6.2 billion Vonage  VG.O 
acquisition, nearly a month after it was delayed due to a
pending investigation by a U.S. national security panel.

    ** HSBC  HSBA.L  has agreed to sell its Russia business to
Expobank, signing a deal shortly before Moscow said it would
move to block the sale of foreign banks' Russian businesses in

to buy Zimbabwe's Bilboes Gold Limited in a $53 million
all-share deal that could quadruple Caledonia's annual
