NLS Pharma up on notice of allowance from patent office for ADHD treatment

** Shares of Swiss pharmaceuticals maker  NLSP.O  up 15% at
$2.7 premarket; set for their best day in more than 5 months 
    ** Co says it has received a notice of allowance from the
U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for its patent application for
mazindol to treat attention deficit disorders  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nACStZfv5a
    ** Co says when the patent is issued, it will cover oral
formulations containing layers of mazindol and their use in the
treatment of attention deficit disorders, related deficit of
alertness or decline in vigilance, or excessive daytime
sleepiness 
    ** The patent, which is expected to be issued in Q4, will
have a term that expires no earlier than March 2037 - NLSP
    ** Up to Wednesday's close, stock had fallen 18.7% YTD
