** India's Newgen Software Technologies NEWG.NS rises 6.5% to 931.90 rupees on winning two contracts

** Shares set to gain the most since August 5

** Co's UK subsidiary wins 5-year contract worth €4.2 million ($4.94 million) from Tata Consultancy Services, Belgium

** Co wins another purchase order worth 212.40 million rupees ($2.40 million) from an insurance firm

** YTD, NEWG shares down ~45%
