The S&P 500 recouped most of its early losses to trade near flat on Thursday as a selloff in AI stocks eased and investors rotated into defensive sectors as fresh data pointed to building US price pressures.[.N]
At 1:18 p.m. EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.91% at 52,090.29. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.15% at 7,730.73, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 0.25% at 26,624.88.
