** Australian technology shares .AXIJ bounce back 4.1%, snapping a four-session losing streak

** AXIJ set for best day since February 25 if gains hold

** Sub-index up after tech stocks led a rebound on Wall Street overnight, with Nasdaq ending up 1.29% .N

** Software firm WiseTech WTC.AX up 5.8%, Xero XRO.AX rises 3.3% and NEXTDC NXT.AX gains 5.2%

** YTD, sub-index down 18.9%, after falling 21% in 2025
