Australian tech stocks gain after Wall Street shares end at record high

** Australia technology stocks .AXIJ rise as much as 1.4%, set to record its second straight session of gains, if trend holds

** Sub-index tracks record high closing on Wall Street overnight .N

** ASX shares of U.S.-based Life360 360.AX LIF.O up 3.5%, while New Zealand based Xero XRO.AX and data centre developer NEXTDC NXT.AX advance 1.2% and 3.5%, respectively

** However, sub-index is down 3.8% so far in the week, its worst since April 4

** YTD, AXIJ is up 5.1% as of 0359 GMT
