India's NIIT hits record high on block deals

** Shares of skill development provider NIIT NIIT.NS soar
as much as 19% to hit record high of 183.2 rupees
** About 2.6 mln shares traded in block deals at a premium
of 9.2-12.2% over last close of 153.84 rupees - LSEG data
** Overall, 33.84 mln shares traded in stock's busiest month
since July 2004
** NIIT eyes eighth straight session of gains
** Stock on track for biggest monthly gain since Sept. 2023
when it jumped ~52%
** YTD, NIIT has risen ~59%
