** Shares of sportswear giant Nike NKE.N up as much as 3.37% at $45.69

** SEC filing shows CEO Elliott Hill bought 23,660.235 shares at $42.265 apiece on April 13

** Tim Cook, Apple AAPL.O CEO and director on Nike's board, bought 25,000 shares at $42.43 apiece on April 10- SEC filing

** Last year, Hill bought roughly $1 million of the company's stock along with Tim Cook who bought stock of about $3 million

** Co in talks to sponsor footballs for European men's matches edging out rival Adidas

** Co's stock touched a 12-year low last week

** Including session moves, stock down 24% YTD
