    ** Company's total revenue rose to $3.89 billion in second
quarter, from $3.77 billion a year ago 
    ** Analysts, on average, expected revenue of $3.90 bln -

    ** JWN sees adj. EPS for 2024 between $1.75 and $2.05, up
from the previous range of $1.65 to $2.05
    ** On an adjusted basis, company reported a profit of 96
cents/shr
