Brief: Norway Petroleum Directorate confirms dry well near Valhall field in the North Sea

July 22 (Reuters) -  
    * Norway Petroleum Directorate says drills dry well near the 
Valhall field in the North Sea 
    * This is the first exploration well in production licence 
616 exploration well 2/11-11. The licence was awarded in APA 
2011. 
    * Edison Norge  EDF.PA  is operator of the production 
licence with a 25 percent stake.  
    * Other partners include Noreco NOR.OL  and Concedo with 20 
percent each, Skagen 44 AS and North Energy NORTH.OL  with 15 
percent each and Lime Petroleum Norway with 5 percent 
    * Report confirms announcement from Noreco on July 20
