Denmark's Maersk Oil makes small oil find off Norway

OSLO, Oct 2 (Reuters) - Danish oil firm Maersk Oil 
 MAERSKb.CO  has a made a small oil discovery off Norway that is 
not commercial at current energy prices, the Norwegian Petroleum 
Directorate said on Friday. 
    Preliminary estimates suggest the find contains between 9 
and 19 million barrels of recoverable oil equivalents. The 
partners in the find are Italy's Edison  EDNn.MI  and Norwegian 
minnow North Energy  NORTH.OL .
