** Shares of Canadian miner  NDM.TO  fall 3.3% to C$2.03
after Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden opposed the
company's flagship Pebble Mine project in Alaska
    ** Biden said on Sunday that if he's elected, his
administration would stop the proposed copper and gold mine near
an Alaska salmon fishery, according to media reports
    ** The Trump administration in July proposed approving a
permit for the mine near an Alaska salmon fishery, boosting a
project the Obama administration tried to block on environmental
grounds
    ** However, President Donald Trump said last week he will
"listen to both sides"
    ** U.S.-listed shares of the company  NAK.N  were down 4.4%
at $1.51
    ** Canadian shares have more than trebled so far this year
