developer of Alaska's Pebble mine, rise 8.8% to 37 Canadian
cents
    ** State of Alaska on Wednesday asked the U.S. Supreme Court
to vacate a Biden administration veto blocking NDM's proposed
Pebble copper and gold mining project
    ** Alaska argues the move violated a decades-old land swap
deal and the state's sovereignty
    ** The lawsuit asked to reverse the U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency's (EPA) Clean Water Act veto
    ** The proposed Pebble mine will tap one of the world's
largest copper and gold deposits; EPA claims it will permanently
destroy over 2,000 acres of wetlands
    ** NDM shares up 23% so far this year
