The benchmark S&P 500 and the Nasdaq were set to open higher on Thursday, buoyed
by chip and megacap stocks, while investors watched out for clues on the timing
of the Fed's rate cuts and the economic outlook, as more earnings roll in.  .N 
    
    At 9:09 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were down 0.21% at 37,380. S&P 500 e-minis
 ESc1  were up 0.34% at 4,787.5, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were up 0.80%
at 17,004.
