** Battery metals firm reports HY loss attributable of $20.1 mln vs $28.7 mln a year ago

** Co posts 3% rise in HY revenue and other income from ordinary activities to $2.8 mln

** About 8.7 mln shares traded, 1.4x the 30-day average

** Stock down 29.3% YTD, including the day's move
