** European logistics stocks rise in an upbeat market
following the U.S. stock rally on Thursday
** Denmark's Maersk MAERSKb.CO and DSV DSV.CO gain 3.5%
and 2.8%, respectively, while Germany's Hapag Lloyd HLAG.DE is
up 3.4% and Swiss Kuehne und Nagel KNIN.S rises 2.6%
** Maersk is the top performer on the Stoxx 600's industrial
goods and services sub-index .SXNP that rises 0.2%; the
pan-European Stoxx 600 .STOXX is up 0.7%
** "The fact that transport stocks have then taken the lead
may perhaps be linked to the fact that the percentage fall in
freight rates is slowing down a bit from previous weeks,"
Sydbank analyst Mikkel Emil Jensen says
** Nordnet analyst Per Hansen notes Maersk and DSV are among
the stocks that have felt the downturn and the risk of recession
